Section 10
Appointment of Polling Officer
: (1) The Election Officer may appoint employees of the Government of Nepal and Provincial Governments as polling officers.
(2) The polling officer appointed in accordance with sub-section (1) shall carry out all work related to the conduct of voting in accordance with this Act and the rules made or issued under this Act in a clean, fair and independent manner.
(3) Other duties, duties and rights of the polling officer shall be as prescribed.
